I design and produce things. In general, I try to make things look good. Hopefully, you'll agree!
FEATURED PROJECT: Two new posters for local upcoming events. Check out the portfolio section of my site for more samples of my work.
I have been designing for over 15 years. Classically trained, spending many hours creating marker comps, laying out boards using ruling pens, photo blue pencils, and cutting rubyliths with precision.
Times have changed (thankfully) and I no longer have to curse an exploding ruling pen at 3am. Creating comps now involves using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and many other programs. While these programs make a designers life easier, the basis for how one uses them has not changed. Having the knowledge to know why certain things are created the way they are in any digital medium is an essential skill. The same now holds true for Internet design. My abilites now enable me to embrace HTML & CSS to create website designs that were not even possible a few years ago. Hand coding in HTML & CSS is a skill I now use daily. Keeping up with the latest design trends and technologies is something I fully embrace.
